We are owned and operated by a member of Pet Sitters International, with a degree in Animal Science. We are reliable, bonded, and insured.

All of our sitters are selected with deep consideration and care. Each sitter has their own strength: a cat whisperer, a farm specialist, a dog enthusiast, a vet tech.

Owner

Always There Animal Care was started back in 2000 after having a bad incident boarding my dog.

We took our dog to a reputable boarding facility at a vet's office, interviewed them and had the tour. We left specific directions for his care, yet 10 days later when we went to pick him up, they would not release him to us. Our dog was sick, on an IV and had lost 10 pounds. He had a gut infection from something he had contracted out in the play yard.

Out of this experience Always There Animal Care was formed. I am the owner with several well-qualified pet loving independent contractors. We are bonded, insured, and happy to supply references.

DEBBIE

Cat Whisperer

Debbie has been an independent contractor with Always There Animal Care since 2009. Prior to that, she taught middle school in Marion County for 32 years and loved it.

Now she volunteers with the Humane Society of Marion County. She has three furry ones of her own named Mia, Pippin, and Kenzie whom she adores. This picture is of Hazel, one of the rescue cats she cared for at Petco before her adoption.

Farm Partner

Amy moved to Florida from Indiana in 2002. She is the proud mom of 10 pets - 3 horses, 4 dogs, and 3 cats. She has been an animal lover since the day she was born.

When she isn't pet sitting, she enjoys riding horses, hiking, gardening and pretty much anything outdoors. She is very caring and nurturing and pays attention to detail. She looks forward to spoiling your pets.

Dog Enthusiast

Cierra was born and raised here in Florida. She's always had a passion for animals. When she's not working or attending her college courses, she enjoys pet sitting, site-seeing, and traveling to different countries.

FALLON

Horse Enthusiast

Fallon loves all things horses. She was a participant in the Mustang Project and is a part-time groomer.

SARAH

Reptile Enthusiast

Sarah has been an independent contractor with ATAC since 2021. She is mom to several foster fail kitties, two bearded dragons, a leopard gecko, and two tanks of fish. She adores all animals - furry, scaly, or feathery!

When not pet sitting, Sarah volunteers with the Humane Society of Marion County, and works for MCPS.

Each visit is customized to your pets and their needs. Setting up a meet and greet gives us a better understanding of those needs and gives you an accurate quote.

Household Pets

Basic Visit Rates

30 minute visit ($25 per visit)

Includes:
- Feeding
- Fresh water
- Clean up of mistakes
- Playtime, reading time, social time
- Potty time
- Cleaning litter boxes
- Bringing in mail & newspaper

Extended Visit Rates

45 minute visit ($32)

1 hour visit ($40)

Includes everything a basic visit covers plus:
- Extended play-time
- Longer walks
- Extra crate-free time
- More cuddles!

Concierge Services

Taxi service to the vet within 15 mile radius - $25 (each way)
Any non-veterinary taxi service within 15 mile radius i.e.: doctor, grocery etc. - $25
Local UF emergency vet, starting at $50 (depending on vet wait time)
